Autumn menu changes at Fitzroy
Autumn has settled gently over Fitzroy, bringing feelings of cosiness and warmth.
To celebrate, James and his chef team have brought three new dishes to our Autumn menu. One savoury, two sweet, and a brilliant trio in all.
Taking the baton from our much loved Truffled Egg (check it out in last Spring's menu blog here), this dish is nourishing and luxurious with earthy autumnal flavours. A base of crispy Jerusalem artichokes and roast mushroom duxelle topped with wild greens, a porcini dusted egg, seared king brown mushrooms, pea foam and truffle oil.
A fresh take on a dish that we’ve been enjoying for many seasons. Crack through the coffee tuille to find a true to life garden of treats: a matcha dusted carrot cake, coffee pudding, chocolate soil and our coffee caviar.
Each season our chefs work with the roasting team to pair a dessert with our seasonal espresso. With blend tasting notes of dried fig, white chocolate and toffee apple, the dessert to follow could only be a scrumptious affair. Autumn is a sticky date and fig pudding with toffee apple ice cream and a roasted white chocolate biscuit. Enjoy it with a black or milk Autumn espresso.
