Meet Our Seasonal Espresso Blend: Winter
Winter is here, and there's nothing quite like sipping on warm cup of coffee to get you through the coldest months.
 
Each season, we create a unique espresso blend that expresses the season in the cup - and we're thrilled to share this year's Winter Blend with you.

Each season, we create a unique espresso blend that expresses the season in the cup - and we're thrilled to share this year's Winter Blend with you.
This year's Winter Blend is comprised of two single origin coffees from Ethiopia and Costa Rica.
 
The first component is Tirra Estate, Costa Rica which brings a fig-like sweetness and contributes to the blend's soft malic acidity. The second component is Tore Badiya, Ethiopia which brings a creamy body to the blend, with hints of butterscotch and soft apple notes.
 
If you’ve been brewing with us for a while, you may recognise both as two of our stand-out single origins over the past few years.
This year's Winter Blend is comprised of two single origin coffees from Ethiopia and Costa Rica.

The Tirra Estate lot is grown in the San Marcos district of the Tarrazu region, and produced by the Coopetarrazu cooperative mill. This organization champions scientific endeavor and education, which has resulted in fantastic quality coffee.
 
The Tore Badiya component is grown in Haniku Village in the famed Kochere region of southern Ethiopia. Each cherry is hand-picked and manually sorted to ensure only perfectly ripened cherries are selected.
 
By roasting each coffee separately and blending them together, we've created a balanced winter blend that delivers a sweet and deep espresso, as well as a luscious and balanced milk coffee, with tasting notes of butterscotch, fuji apple and fig.
