Industry Beans named Melbourne's Best Boutique Roaster
We're proud to announce that Industry Beans was named Melbourne's "Best Boutique Roaster of 2014" at The Age's Good Cafe Guide Awards last night. The Best Boutique Roaster category was awarded "for a specialty roaster who brings integrity to each stage of the process, from sourcing and selecting to roasting, brewing and educating."
This pretty much sums up what drives and excites us - to bring a fantastic experience to Melbourne's coffee drinkers by being closely involved in every stage of the process, from crop to cup, and providing transparent and detailed information about each coffee.
We're very excited about the next stage of the journey we're embarking upon at Industry Beans. You'll still find us here in Fitzroy brewing coffee for the neighbourhood every day, but there is also a growing number of specialty coffee cafes in Melbourne, Sydney and across Australia who are proudly serving Industry Beans coffee.
We're also excited to be roasting coffee for the expanding market of home brewers from across Australia who have been ordering freshly roasted coffee beans from our online shop. In addition, we're currently redesigning all the packaging for Industry Beans coffee - we'll be unveiling the brand new look in the coming months!
