Did you hear? Our Newstead Cafe & Roastery has been awarded 'Best Cafe Design' in this year's Eat Drink Design Awards!

It's an amazing recognition for a venue that we worked so hard to bring to life, and love working in every single day. Designed with our friends Platform by Design Office, who are experts in creating unique new spaces for brands, it's a beautiful home for Industry Beans in Brisbane.

Newstead was designed to be light, bright and open. By leveraging the natural height and space of the existing industrial warehouse, we filled the venue with filtered natural light and plenty of greenery to create a unique environmental warmth.

The palette and materials are a beautiful localisation of the Industry Beans brand - designed to feel familiar to those who have visited Industry Beans before, but at the same time distinctly Brisbane. Shades of white and grey, warmed up with oak timber throughout, create a memorable tone.

Newstead is beautifully designed, but incredibly accessible - a place that offers something different for every visit. Whether you're visiting for coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch or a private event - it's a place that is brought to life by its visitors.
