Seasonal Espresso Blend

Every three months, we create a unique espresso blend that captures the changing season around us. This year's Spring is fresh, fruity and lively - Spring is definitely in the air.

Spring Espresso brings together two unique coffees from East Africa in equal parts. Abdurahman Ababulgu from Ethiopia contributes delicate florals, silky stone fruit and elegant sweetness, while Adumu from Central Kenya adds a raspberry, cola-like sweetness and vibrant complexity. Together, they create a fresh, juicy cup with lively citrus acidity and a beautifully balanced finish.

In the cup, Spring Espresso is vibrant and expressive, with aromas of jasmine up front leading into bright stone fruit and citrus notes, backed up with a sweet cola finish.

Roasting Note: Both these coffees naturally have high acidity. To provide balance in the cup, we have extended the Maillard reaction period in both roast profiles.

Brewing Note: We recommend brewing at a 1:2.5 ratio. A slightly longer extraction will draw out additional sweetness and allows the fruit-forward characteristics to fully develop.
