Seasonal Espresso Blend

Every three months, we create a unique espresso blend that captures the feeling of the environment around us. This year's Winter Espresso Blend is rich, fruity and satisfying. A perfect buffer for those chilly winter mornings.

The Winter Espresso Blend brings together two unique coffee origins in equal parts.

The Aileu from East Timor provides a sweet backbone with hazelnut and stone fruit notes, while the Mandomashe from Tanzania brings indulgent, jammy raspberry notes. Together, these coffees create a distinctive stone fruit–driven malic acidity.

Our Winter Espresso Blend is a cacao and fruit-driven drinking experience. The body is reminiscent of high-quality, single origin dark chocolate, layered with jammy raspberry flavours. Bright, stone fruit malic acidity complements the overall brew.

Roasting Note: More overall development for the Tanzania and Aileu to help enhance body and sweetness in these lovely washed coffees.

Brewing Note: 1:2.5 ratio. The longer ratio draws out more sweetness and allows the fruit notes to shine. The Tanzania component can present with bright acidity, and this extended ratio helps balance it with increased sweetness and a velvety body.
