8 Years of Industry Beans

This month marks eight years of coffee, brunch and community for Industry Beans.

From our first customers in Melbourne, to our growing base in Sydney and Brisbane, we feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a beautiful group of neighbours, local businesses, coffee lovers and foodies. Not to mention our amazing family of wholesale partners, growing across the country and around the world. And of course, our own team from our roasteries, cafés and office – who have always served our community with passion and great coffee.

We’ve grown from one roastery & café in FItzroy to six of our own venues and a blossoming wholesale & online community – ensuring you can get great tasting coffee wherever you are.

It’s been an amazing journey so far from our humble beginnings in Fitzroy – and we’re not stopping now! While we’ve been busy growing in Sydney and Brisbane in the last two years, we’re bringing a few more exciting things back to Melbourne. Next month we’re opening an ambitious and exciting venue in Chadstone, and we’ve got some more big news coming up in June.

It’s also our York St. venue’s second birthday this month too, so Sydney, look out for a surprise in the coming weeks!

As our wholesale family grew, we welcomed our first Caddy!

 

And in 2017, we opened Industry Beans Lt. Collins.

 

The first version of our Porcini Egg hit the tables in Fitzroy...

 

And we put Cold Brew on tap - an industry first!

 

We launched our signature dish, the Fruit Sashimi…

 

And had a line out the door the first day at Industry Beans York St!

 

Followed by many bustling days in Sydney.

 

We opened our flagship roastery in Newstead, Brisbane...

 

And made the switch to fully recyclable bags.
