Our Latest Single Origins

Our Latest Single Origins

October’s looking like a single origin coffee party at Industry Beans as we introduce you to three new roasts! Read on for a closer look...

FILTER SINGLE ORIGIN - EL MURAL, EL SALVADOR

El Mural from El Salvador is our newest single origin release on filter. Hailing from Chalatenango, an area known for its artisans and painters, this coffee has a colourful set of flavours to match with tasting notes of orange marmalade, nougat and blackberry.

The coffee was grown in the shade of orange and native trees, within a tri-border national park shared between El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. Designated as a biosphere reserve since 2011, it’s an area of incredibly rich bio-diversity, producing consistently high quality coffee.

FILTER SINGLE ORIGIN - FINCA HARTMANN, PANAMA

We've been sourcing Finca Hartmann for five years now, and it continues to be one of our favourites year in and year out. It has amazing tropical fruit qualities, but what really takes this coffee to another level is the balance between its fruity front-end and rich chocolate finish. It’s an incredibly well-balanced coffee that brews perfectly for any method and highlights tasting notes of pineapple, plum jam and limoncello.

Hartmann Estate is currently owned by the third generation of the Hartmann family. The original owner Mr. Alois St. Hartmann was born in Czechoslovakia in 1891 and fled the country at the start of the First World War. After hiding on a boat and travelling the world in exile, he eventually landed in Panama in 1911 and built the first cabin in Candela in 1912, which has grown to become the estate that we know and love today.

FILTER SINGLE ORIGIN - ENDEBESS, KENYA

Getting a new fresh crop update this month is a coffee you may already be familiar with from earlier this year – Endebess from Kenya. It’s a natural processed lot that’s meticulously dried over a seven-week period, leading to an exotic & unique flavour profile characterized by a juicy, moreish acidity and a complex array of fruit notes. Its tasting notes of strawberry, apricot nectar and passionfruit makes for an absolutely delicious cup.

This coffee comes from the Endebess Estate, which was established in the 1940s and is located in the Trans-Nzoia province of Kenya.
