Now Roasting: Our Winter Seasonal Espresso & Filter Blends

Every three months at Industry Beans, we create two unique blends that capture the feeling around us: a Seasonal Espresso and a Seasonal Filter.

For the season that asks you to slow down and settle in, we've launched our Winter Espresso and Winter Filter, both curated around the depth and comfort that winter calls for.

Blend Components
Aileu, Timor-Leste

Washed | Timor Hybrid, Typica | 1,300 masl

This washed lot is produced at Orijem Timor’s wet mill, Centru Kafe, in the municipality of Aileu. Ahead of the 2026 harvest, Centru Kafe has converted its primary energy source to solar.

This lot showcases the distinctive characteristics of the Hibrido de Timor variety, known for its disease-resistance and unique cup profile that combines the complexity of Arabica with subtle strength notes from its Robusta heritage.

This component brings a sweet backbone of hazelnut, while contributing some of the stone fruits notes.

Mandomashe, Tanzania

Washed | Bourbon, Kent | 1,700 masl

Mandomashe is a name representing four villages who have formed a new Cooperative/AMCOS in the Southern Highlands of the Mbozi Region in Tanzania. The cooperative helps farmers beyond their own smaller operations, with a focus on supporting pre-harvest and during coffee production for a best end of season outcome.

This component brings indulgent, jammy raspberry notes to the blend.

Winter Filter Blend

Floral and silky

This year's Winter Filter Blend brings together two unique coffee origins in equal parts. The single-estate Gesha from Peru contributes a silky mouthfeel and complex floral aromatics, while the coffee from Finca Aurora Machaca in Bolivia adds body and sweet hazelnut notes.

Blend Components
Las Etíopes, Peru

Washed | Gesha | 2,000 masl

Almost all of the coffee produced at Las Etiopes is processed as fully washed. For Geisha lots such as this one, coffee is selectively hand harvested and then hand sorted. After harvesting, the cherry is rinsed and then floated in fresh, cold spring water, which serves to both remove lower quality beans and also to clean the cherry and reduce its microbial load. This is particularly important for extended fermentation lots such as this one, as it helps to prevent over-fermentation during processing. This long fermentation is possible due to the cool temperature at the farm which slows the process.

This component brings the silky velvety body, along with a complex floral aroma.

Finca Aurora Machaca, Bolivia

Washed | Red Catuai, Typica | 1,550 masl

Located in the Caranavi region of La Paz, Bolivia, the farm where these beans were grown encompasses 9 hectares, with 3.5 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation, primarily focusing on the Red Catuai variety. Situated at an elevation of approximately 1,550 meters above sea level, the farm benefits from favourable growing conditions that contribute to the quality of its coffee.

The harvest period spans from June to September, during which cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness. Post-harvest, the coffee is predominantly processed using natural drying methods on raised beds, a practice that enhances the beans' inherent sweetness and complexity.

Their commitment to quality and sustainable farming practices has positioned Finca Aurora Machaca as a notable producer in Bolivia's specialty coffee scene.

This component provides the body and sweet hazelnut notes to the cup.
