At last! We're beyond delighted to welcome you into Industry Beans Fitzroy.
The lead up has been long and anticipation high, and we couldn't be happier with the final result! Take a tour through our Fitzroy HQ with us here, then come on down and do it all again in person - with a coffee in hand, of course.
When our time at Rose Street came to an end, we were delighted to find a bigger, brighter home... just up the street! The saw tooth roof gives a distinct silhouette and a light-filled interior, serving as inspiration for a lofty, airy design. Separate entrances for the cafe and roastery create an ideal flow of traffic, and we even managed to squeeze our offices in upstairs.
With the original floors, walls and ceilings, the two biggest changes we made to the building were in the glass cafe doors, putting the coffee bar on show and letting even more lilght stream in - and the internal glass viewing windows into the roastery, doing much the same. We only wanted to open up the building - no corners, dark rooms or small doorways!
Our Fitzroy roastery is the heart and soul of our coffee operations - and, if you remember our previous Fitzroy roasting space, you'll see that we've sized up! Sitting alongside the cafe with three large viewing windows, you can watch the team at work on our Loring S15 falcon, putting out a full roster of single origins and blends every day.
Right inside the entrance you'll find our custom modbar coffee bar design. Look familiar? The white corian bench and white modbars are a signature for Industry Beans - first designed for Lt. Collins in 2017, then adapted for every cafe since. Now, we've come full circle to bring this signature piece of design home at Fitzroy.
Having the same coffee equipment across our cafes means we can be incredibly consistent with quality and training, so you know a coffee at Industry Beans will always taste as good as you expect it to taste. In Fitzroy, we're brewing our Fitzroy Street Blend and Seasonal Espresso alongside rotating single origins for espresso and filter - all roasted just next door
Choose from a mixture of booth and banquette seating with views of the coffee bar, coffee roastery, or kitchen pass - whichever action you're most interested in! The cafe has been designed for comfort as much as for aesthetic, and you'll feel at home as soon as you sit down, under the dramatic steel mesh frame which our young plants will soon take over.
Our Signature Brunch menu is back, with a delicious new Mains offering that guests of our Chadstone cafe will recognise - Truffled Gnocchi and all! Book, or come on down when you're ready and our team will find you the perfect spot.
Our love for coffee doesn't stop at our own doors - it follows you home with everything you need to brew great coffee in store, and available to shop. Our shelves are bursting with freshly roasted coffee beans for every method, ground on demand if you need it, alongside brewing equipment, cold brew and pods.
