How to Clean & Maintain Your Magnifica Evo

Keep your machine fresh!

Learn how to keep your Magnifica Evo in great working condition with regular cleaning and proper maintenance. It's important to regularly clean all parts of the machine, and there are a few tricks so please watch the video and our additional tips below.

• There's a milk volume sensor located on the outside face of the machine, right behind the milk carafe (when installed). Make sure this sensor stays clean so it's able to read milk volume correctly. 

• Your milk carafe is dishwasher safe, take it apart and pop in the dishwasher or hand wash with detergent once a week.
  
  
• Cleaning the brew unit is incredibly important (as shown at 1:34 in the video), you’ll need to rinse it well every 1-2 weeks, but don’t put in the dishwasher! 
  
  
• Descaling is another super important step to maintaining your machine, you'll need to descale your machine approx. every 600 - 700 cups, depdning on your water hardness. Watch the video on 'How to Descale the Magnifica Evo' for the full guide.
