HOW TO BREW CHAI AT HOME

Coffee is the heart of what we do... but in the thick of winter, we've been loving the ritual of sipping on a mug of warming Chai as a late afternoon pick-me-up.

WHY DRINK CHAI?
The word chai means "tea" and is traditionally made up of 4 main ingredients: tea, milk, sugar and a blend of warming spices.
 
Chai has long been a staple brew at Industry Beans, so much so that we created our own blend. Black tea infused with flavourful spices and lightly sweetened with coconut nectar - what's there not to love!
Our blend is a combination of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cardamom, lemongrass & lavender flower - all the feel-good spices that pack a bunch of health benefits too!
AT HOME CHAI RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
  • 200mL milk of choice (dairy, or dairy-free - we love using oat or soy!)
  • 50mL water
METHOD
  • Infuse the chai mixture with hot water and steep for 1 minute.
  • Heat milk to desired temperature and add to chai mixture.
  • Strain and serve in your favourite mug or reusable!
